Paleo Sapiens
First of all, thank you for playing Paleo Sapiens.
This game is a draft version of a personal project. I made it in order to help recruiters grasp my knowledge of game development, as I am a final-year master student seeking an internship in this area.
It was made in 2 weeks using Unity. Every aspect of the game besides the ones cited below were made by me.
The main techniques I used or experimented with while building this project are:
- Procedural terrain generation (wave function collapse)
- Shader graphs
- 3D modelisation, rigging (Blender)
- 3D animations (Blender, Unity and Mixamo)
- UI
- Optimization (Profiler)
- OOP, inheritance, DSA
- Scriptable objects
Although I have some experience in various fields related to game development, I still have a lot to learn, which is why an internship would greatly benefit me.
While playing the game, you may notice that two characters are available, the Pyromaniac and the Skeleton, but only the Pyromaniac is truly playable currently. Furthemore, the game is meant to be played in full-screen. Your ultimate goal will be to kill a stegosaurus. Good luck !
